Here we cover the Utica Transit Corporation/Authority from its succession to the bankrupt New York State Railways Utica City Lines to the present day operation of Utica Transit Authority. All routes presently operated will be listed as will a roster of buses operated over the year right up to the present time.

Originally the Utica City Lines of New York State Railways,the Utica Transit Corporation operated 100 cars on 50 miles of track on 17 routes prior to conversion to bus operation. These routes were as follows:

2-Rome-Little Falls (CNY Coach and Utica-Rome Bus)
3-Clinton (30-Genesee-Clinton)
4-New Hartford (24-Genesee-Hartford)
5-Cabron
6-Eagle (22 S. Hilton)
7-James (15-James)
8-South (22 S.Hilton)
9-Blandina (20 Lenox-Blandina)
10-Lincoln
11-Whitesboro(same today)
12-New York Mills(same today)
14-Mohawk (14-Mohawk-Burrstone)
15-Lenox (now 20-Lenox-Blandina)
16-State(Forest Park)
17_Yorkville (11-Whitesboro)
These 17 routes were eventually almagamated into the 11 routes presently in operation by Utica Transit Authority,which has recently been merged into CNY Centro.

Total Number of buses: 22. Many of these were still in service along with fleet additions of 1937 to 1942 inclusive.

1937-42 Fleet Additions;These buses were added to the existing fleet then in operation,except that all buses earlier than 1935 were retired by the time the last of these additions were added to the fleet,bringing it to approximately 81 buses.
